  1. Where is the Career Development Center?

    In the Stratton Administration Building, room 113 -- right across from the Registrar's Office.
  2. I'm really confused about what I want to do or what my major should be. What can you do to help me?

    Check out "Services & Resources" linked to our home page. If you'd like to schedule an appointment to speak to a staff member, call 610-683-4067.
  3. I'm not a student at Kutztown. May I use your services?

    Anyone may use the resources in the Career Development Center. We're happy to help.
  4. How do I find out about job openings, internships, summer jobs?

    Job announcements are posted at the KU Career Network . You can also check out the Job/Career Information and the Internship Information pages of our website.
  5. How do I get information about a specific company?

    Check out the Job/Career Information and the Services & Resources pages of our website for printed material and employer directories.
  6. How can I get information about other undergraduate colleges and/or graduate schools?

    Peterson's Guides to 2-Year and 4-Year Colleges and to Graduate School are also available in the Career Center. Also, check out the Graduate School Information page of our website for numerous online resources.
  7. Where do I get information about the KU Graduate School?

    Students are encouraged to visit the Graduate Studies website, then contact Graduate Admissions (610.683.4200 or graduate@kutztown.edu) and the academic department(s) of interest. .
  8. Can I bring in my resume & go over it with someone?

    The Career Development Center has a Resume Review Service. You may email your resume as a Word attachment to careerhelp@kutztown.edu, bring, or snail mail it to the office. One of the professional staff will look over it and write any suggestions/comments right on it. Normal turn around time for picking it up is 7-10 working days.

    You will need to show a picture I.D. to pick your resume. If you send along a stamped, self-addressed envelope, your resume will be mailed back to you as soon as it's finished. Our staff is happy to meet with you if you have further questions about the corrections made.

  9. 9. Where do I find out about on-campus, student employment?

    The Financial Aid Office posts all available positions of this type.
